Each time I sleep, I awake.
If by chance I did not wake,
That I may not know.
No!
I never know when I'm sleeping.
But when I wake, I know I've slept.
When I'm dead, how will I know?
Will I awake at another time
And realise that I had died?
Will I get up and fly away,
To another day,
To a better life,
Just like the new
Born butterfly?
