The Making of a Movie Star
In Search of Aiysha
ART-Digital Films, the London based production company, announces a nation-wide search for Aiysha, the missing link in their forthcoming epic film project “The MAÃT Mystery”.
Based on the successful adult, suspense novel, “The MAÃT Mystery: in search of the missing link”, by musician/writer/director, Spartacus R., “The MAÃT Mystery” is an Africentric adventure love story. It features the enigmatic, sensual, sexually complex, psychomotionally damaged Aiysha and Shango, her love-struck suitor, who are being pursued across three continents by a group of psychopathic killers searching for a mysterious, ancient African artefact which is said to possess the secrets of eternal life.
“The Aiysha we are looking for is very special. She is a dark, African (Black) woman, playing age around twenty five, a little above average height, with typically “Black” physical assets. She has bright, piercing, disarming eyes, a broad captivating smile, and a sparkling, vivacious personality. She is street wise, short-tempered and very unpredictable,” said Charles Thompson, the Executive Producer. “Aiysha is a very complex character but we are quite confident that she is out there and we will find her.”
Auditions for the role of Aiysha and other key characters, will be held in London on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th of May at a venue to be confirmed.
“The MAÃT Mystery”, which is set to become the first “Black” feature film shot entirely with the new Sony HD 24p Digital camera, will also be one of the first premiered worldwide via electronic cinema network.
