The editor of Global Africa Pocket News and author of "Violation" and "The Maat Mystery" takes another look at the world.

Is it just I who have suddenly awakened to become aware of it, while others have been familiar for some time or is there a momentous media interest in the Third Millennium of the Christian Era? During the past few weeks, I have noticed a sudden flurry of activity around what Global Europe (White people) call the "Millennium Celebrations". They plan to spend enormous amounts of money celebrating the past half-millennium of European domination of the world. In England alone, they will spend over £200 million to stage the year 2000 festival events.

So how is Global Africa (Black people), going to make our mark on the Third Millennium and beyond? Do we have our own plans? or do we hope to figure favourably in Global Europe's or some other people's plans? What historical information do we have to support such a hope? Do we expect to be around at all after the 21st Century, and if so why? These are just a few of the questions we hope to answer when we meet on Monday the 5th February 1996, at 18 Stoke Newington Road, London N16, to discuss: "Global Africa's Role in the Aquarian Age: Success Strategies through the 21st Century". Your presence and contribution will be most welcome.

This will be the first of many information sharing preparatory strategy meetings organized by Global Africa People's Network (GAP Net) leading to two major world conferences in Africa in 1998 and 2000 (see Call to UK PAC 98) where Global Africans will produce plans to establish ourselves as the nation who will save humanity from itself and the ravages of Global Europe (White Supremacy) in the 21st Century.

Contrary to popular belief and visible evidence, I believe that right now, more than at any other time in the past 500 years, we have the greatest opportunity to totally transform the world and our global relationship with all other peoples. Yes, I know that everywhere, even in Africa - especially in Africa - we are at the bottom of the pile; some places we are even beneath the bottom.

As if that is not enough, at the worst of times we try our best to destroy each other. Even with that scenario in focus, I can see that we have all the chips stacked in our favour. The problem is, we don't know it - yet. Our enemies know it too well, but we don't. The moment we recognize our power, and seize control of that immense potential at our disposal, is the exact moment of the dawn of a new universal awakening.

The beginning of the 21st Century coincides with both the start of the new millennium and the approximate dawn of the 2160-year cosmic month called the Aquarian Age by our African Ancestors some 50,000 years ago. The Aquarian Age, the age of the Water Bearer, holds great promise for Africa which bears more than one third of the world's land-based water at a time when water is likely to be the most valuable currency of the next century. The spiritual nature of the Aquarian Age also promises to favour the most spiritually connected (not religious) among us. And who is that most likely to be?

In this Age, the air element suggests that communication will be the most important single asset any nation can have. We must reach back into our collective memory and rediscover the talent we had for social communication, which enabled us to lay all the foundations for today's hi-tech society.

It is clear that Global Europe and Pan-Arabia (Arab people) are in the process of re-dividing a methodically depopulated Africa among themselves. Because they recognize its value, they hope that we don't catch on until it's too late. But it's not yet too late. Things are happening so fast that within two or three generations, the depressing state of Africa and Africans around the world could be completely transformed. But that cannot happen by accident nor by default, we have to make it happen and we can indeed make it happen because we have the power - we are the power.

I know a few of you reading this column will be thinking: "This man is crazy", especially those mentally crippled, invalidated Africans who cannot see any value whatsoever in themselves. But these are important times. Who believed me when, over 15 years ago, I was predicting and explaining the reasons for the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the creation of Greater Europe? (see "Towards 2000")

What I am saying now is incredible but the alternative is too horrible for mere words to describe. If we don't take control in the 21st Century there will be no trace of us in the 22nd Century.
